Our West Buildings, Worthing, Development is now complete! and we are excited to be able to share with you the final finish throughout.
West Buildings, is a late Victorian mixed-use property in the centre of Worthing, adjacent to the seafront. the building was doing nothing for the local community and economy! Our plan was to be a part of a bustling parade of shops and flats, providing accommodation for professionals, and a shop for locals.
This project has been a joy to deliver, it was our first Crowd Funded Project, with the support and guidance of the fantastic team @leocrowdfunding, who helped us to achieve 100% funding, which has driven us on to develop further Crowd Funded investment opportunities.
Our design was based on an urban/industrial theme, creating a 6 bed HMO, all with en-suite shower rooms, with an open plan kitchen/living/working space, all designed with our residents wellbeing and home working in mind . As works progressed we were blessed with finding some amazing original features that we were able to keep such as the original flint stone wall. Such a rare find, following our Party Wall Surveyor’s report we have found out that our building is part of an infill construction and these walls were originally the external walls of the adjoining building. Along with unmasking some fabulous bare brick chimneys, all adding to our design theme.
The property is now on the open market for let with our partner company Sussex Property Partnership and since going live only a day or so ago, we have received a lot of viewing requests, fingers crossed for a quick let. The next challenge is re-valuation, we will of course keep you up to date with how this progresses.
